In a recent address, the newly appointed CEO of AHPRA, Justin Untersteiner, unveiled his ambitious plans to overhaul and enhance the functioning of the regulatory body. “We need to better understand the experience of anyone interacting with our scheme,”

“I am not convinced that the current notifications end-to-end system is achieving these important outcomes,”

“This is not an issue solely for AHPRA to solve…we play a critical leadership role,”

“I don’t believe we can afford to make small tweaks; I think we need to pick up the whole system and rethink it.”
